Chain of Custody

At the outset, I will evaluate your evidence and discuss with you a realistic estimate of my billable fees so you can advise your client about an estimated cost.  This will include using only the appropriate tests and appropriate forensic methods to properly examine your evidence.

At the conclusion of my tests, I will provide a verbal opinion to you and you may also request:

  • a written report with or without illustrations of the forensics features that I used in forming my opinion
  • a pre-trial conference (giving you suggested questions to qualify me as a testifying expert)
  • court exhibits and my appearance in court as your expert witness
  • my service as your rebuttal witness

My Experience and Credentials

Recently, I was awarded certification from the Board of Forensic Document Examiners (BFDE), a hallmark in my career.  Since the BFDE started certifying forensic professionals in 2003, only 16 of us in the world hold this distinction.  The BFDE is accredited by the Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board (FSAB).

For the last 20 years, I have been developing my expertise in handwriting and document forensics, and working on cases involving questioned handwriting, signatures and document disputes.  This includes suspicious activities of all kinds from workplace fraud to family disputes to felonies and other criminal behavior.

Please review my resume to see the kinds of skills and scope of experience I offer.  If requested, I’m also happy to send you my record of testimony.
